7m - 25 min

A lovely relaxing dive to start the season. Getting comfortable with the gear again. Sunny day, calm water. Lovely sun beams through the water, wish i had had my camera.

7m - 25 min

Nice dive in the basin. A bit cold but lovely when i got out. Practicing buoyancy and floating at depth in preparation for using my camera again. A lot of silt stirred up on the way out so coming back in it was hard to navigate. Did well and ended up a foot away from where we started our dive.

9m - 30 min

Lovely evening dive in the bay. Quite a bit of silt stirred up. The tide was out so it wasn't as deep as usual. Spanish gallion moored in the bay and the rays of the evening sun shon beautifully down on the ship. Wish i had brought my camera with me. Tiny little gellyfish with little coloured lights flashing when they moved, fantastic. Must go on a night dive soon.

9m - 20 min

Lovely evening for a dive, warm and sunny. Vis not the best as usual, murky and silty. Took a few shots with my camera, must use it more often. Did a bit of snorkelling afterwards for an hour and watched the sun go down over Dun Laoghaire.

8m - 28 min

Tide out! Bad move... Loads of rocks and seaweed to get through before getting to deep water. Big swell up also with rain showers and it was quite dull and dark. The vis was crap at 2m but it was still a great dive. My mask kept flooding, must check it out.

Showers of rain and dark. Bit of a swell and crap vis but still a great dive. I had the camera with me but it was too silty to get any shots worth keeping. Took a few photos of my buddy on the surface though.

10m - 23 min

Nice dive, calm sea. Vis not the best but it made the dive interesting. Spotted a large lobster hiding under a big bolder. Raging i didn't have my camera with me. Bring it all the time in future! My mask didn't flood much this dive only once really. Since the last dive I had tightened it slightly so it seemed to have done the trick.

The tide was nice and high on this dive so entry and exit from the beach was so easy. No killing myself trying to climb over rocks and seaweed this time!

9m - 29 min

I remembered to bring all my gear this time, forgot my suit and BCD last week, bummer! Had a nice dive this evening, vis ok at about 4m. Took shots of some crab but only got blurred ones of some dog fish. Note to self: I need to brush up on my photo skills!

Water temperature warm, well for Ireland anyway, and humid this evening. Calm seas and tide in. Full tide was at 19:00hrs approx. Played around with my camera for a bit and managed to take some photos of Mick underwater and on the surface. Great dive.

Lovely dive this morning. The tide was high and the seas were a bit choppy but hey it was a love sunny day! Vis not the best at 2m. Didn't see very much sea life but it was a lovely dive all the same.
