Diver's Notes

An early start to the day left us with an exhausted temperament, and the seemingly disorganised and long journey to sail rock led us to feel apprehensive about the entire experience. For the expense and how much it is talked up, Sail Rock was spectacular but also overrated. Unfortunately it was an overcast day, and the depths of the dive made it harder to take a decent shot. By this stage of our trip my macro lens had leaked water, the padding on my BC was beginning to degrade and the dump valve string had been torn off at some stage. I've yet to determine whether it has affected my bouyancy because my profile on the sail rock dives was more sawtooth than usual. But that might have also been from filming long panning shots too.
