Diver's Notes

Deep water dive with The Dive Shop Instructor John Lyerly to complete PADI Deep Diver Certification. This dive was a good dive and in shore due to weather off shore.

The area around the wreck was loaded with giant sand dollars. There was a great amount of Mahi Tuna and quite a few Barracuda. A large loggerhead turtle was recorded on the bow end of the vessel and there was some areas for penetration of the wreck. Octopus and several eels were also seen along with a giant sea snail.

Dove with a charter out of Olympus Dive Center in Morehead City, NC. The diving was amazing. We were on their boat called the Midnight. We stayed at the Dive Lodge owned by Olympus Dive Center for $30.00 per night.
