Diver's Notes

Negative entry blue water descent. Had problems with my right ear, ascended and cleared. Grey reef shark were in the area and we found a couple of them. Toward the end a triggerfish seemed to be playing with me and posed for a picture. On the safety stop, I played with what seemed to be harmless dime-sized jellies, but later my knuckles swelled up a bit.

After several opinions and hours of research, the problem with my right ear was self-diagnosed as middle-ear barotrauma. Symptoms of squeaking when my ear cleared and hearing everything through a tin can disapated after a little more than a week.
