15m - 30 min - Dived with Bob Dehler from Seminole Scuba
The water felt so good after the short walk from the parking lot to the spring run. We walked along the bank to the spring and Bob conducted a pre-dive brief. Trevor worked with the compass a little. I tried to go with him, but one kick of the fin and I broke a strap. I was able to salvage it so I could go on the dive, but it was the beginning of a less-than-stellar dive day. I led Trevor into the spring and passed a large plecostomus on the way. We spiraled down to 15m and noticed my computer was dead. Trevor cleared his mask along the way-not part of the training. We ascended and Bob showed me another cavern on the safety stop. I don't know how far it went back but I swam until there was no light before I turned around. On the surface interval, Trevor performed a few more skills to keep warm.

14m - 20 min - Dived with Bob Dehler from Seminole Scuba
After a short surface interval we went back for more! I went straight down to about 10m and the right ear quit equalizing. Trevor seemed a little light on weight so Bob helped him down. I continued to circle the ledges until I could equalize my ear. Finally, after about 10 minutes, I was able to descend to 14m-just in time to terminate the dive. Better late than never I guess. After the dive, we drifted down the run and saw schools of gar and tilapia. It was a great new perspective of the spring run. Can't wait to go back!
