We are participating today in the startup contest Techcrunch Disrupt. Support Diveboard by voting for us!
Spur of the moment decision to hit up Khao Lak for a Christmas Break dive trip (and get some local tailoring in as well). Signed on The Phinisi through Liveaboard.com. Cruise Director was Victor Flores. Dive guide was Dui. Dive buddy was Elizabth with fellow divers in the roup being Sandra (WA via Philippines) and Pamela (Denmark). Later joined by Patrick (Austria) and Dascha (?? - possibly Germany?)
This was our first dive, a chack dive - all gear worked fine. Testing out new camera rig (strobes and manual on camera - steep learning curve).
Fish life encountered: Octopus (Octopus Cyanea), Longnosed Emperor (lethrinus olivaceus), Nudibranchs and Flatworms, Common Lionfish and Spotfin Lionfish, Bluefin Trevally (Caranx melampygus), Glassfishes, Giant Morays (Gymnothorax javanicus), and False Clown Anemonefish (Amphiprion ocellaris)
