Not the BEST dive I've had this year - my own fault really. Failed to adequately weight myself and so the first dive was a busted flush - no descent = no dive. Second run at it was fine until lost contact with buddies - again my own fault - got absorbed in looking through view finder rather than keeping eye on buddies in low visibility.
Learned a lesson, accomplished some shots with the new camera (it didn't flood - yay!), and even got to practice some nav skills on my way back to shore. Even so - "worst day diving beats best day working".
Will definitely be going back though - really easy shore diving with lots to see around the Gravel Loader pylons.
Another highlight was diving with daughter for first time.
