Diver's Notes

Second club dive in 3 weeks - this time with Bickertons in tow but no Georgie or Peter. Jeremy was DM-ing but we just independently poodled while he looked after the couple of new club divers.
No nudies this time. Weather was less appealing - grey, overcast and while we were down it rained up top. Lorrie was top cover this dive (Lorrie doesn't DO cold). Again just the one dive followed by lunch at Batemans Bay and called in to Batemans Bay Dive Adventures (BBDA) where Liz, Kerry and Pete signed up for the Nudie Specialty next weekend. This dive was more about the bigger stuff - crested horn shark, octopus, grouper, bull ray.
Calm water - easy entry/exit. Liz had her new skinsuit under her dry suit and was perfectly warm - she's loving this dry suit diving lark. I was 5mm plus frogskin with thicker gloves and was warm enough - only got cold at finger tips and toes towards end of dive. No air consumption figures this dive 'cos I foolishly packed Pete's regs instead of mine, so no integrated air. No biggie, had pressure gauge and computer did the rest. Again, another lovely dive with good buddies.
