Diver's Notes

Well 2nd dive was similar to the last however vis. had dropped off with allot more cloud cover and near on a meter higher tide...

We did see 8 x kingfish around 75 - 80cm in size cruising around the arch. And a school of 200+ salmon that buzzed us in the shallows near the end of the dive.

The day didn't start of that well with me leaving my dive computer at home. Its air integrated so without it I have no way of reading tank pressure. So being 1.5hrs from home - I travelled 30mins back to Abyss Scuba and borrowed a pressure gauge being a regular there they were very helpfull and had me headed back to the dive site 10mins later. So no nice profiles for my Log - but I still got my dives in.

As its a short walk down the rocks from the car park - I did this with tank turned on and the tank o-ring burst on the walk down. Anthony was very quick to shut it off however I still lost 30 BAR before we even started. I carry spare o-ring in my BC so a short stop and we were on our way again. This changed our dive plan to a much shallower dive and turn around at 110 BAR. Still managed a 53min dive and finished with 50BAR so not too much of a loss.
