This was our first Open water dive in the open water. Chuck took us to a Fort Lauderdale Beach, we kitted up and went in. I remember there being a bit or surge from the waves, but we did the skills and had a look around

6m - 30 min - Dived with Chuck Senior

2nd day of our SSI Open water dive course with Chuck. We went to the same beach as the day before, but the weather was a bit more overcast with the waves and surge bigger than the day before. I remember having to use the tables to work out our max bottom time, but at this stage of our diving there was no way we were going to exceed due to using a tank within 30mins. While diving I found a $20 note. Chuck got a bit excited and made us follow him around for a bit after doing skills. Back on shore Chuck said that its always a good idea to have a look around as sometimes "BALES" of drug money are broken open in the water, so there could be a lot more than the 1 I found.

8m - 30 min - Dived with Chuck Senior

Last dive with Chuck Senior for our SSI Open Water certification. WE PASSED ! Did theory, did skills and went for a dive. I had fogging issues with my mask, surge was a lot stronger, viz was low and generally I felt a little uncomfortable during the dive.
