Diver's Notes

During the trip from Coral Kingdom to Lighthouse Bommie, everyone was on deck looking for Minke whales.
A short time after we tied up, a Minke was spotted so we all snorkeled up and slid into the water.
It took about 30mins before I saw a Minke, it slowly and quietly cruised under us and disappeared, not even time for me to turn on the GoPro.
So I made sure the GoPro was in standby for the next Minke. It probably took another 30 mins before I saw another, and it went past 3 or 4 more times. Huge, quiet and serene, silently passing beneath us.

Lighthouse Bommie with buddy Ed
On the way down i spotted a tank on the bottom, then some legs... but what intrigued me was that I couldn't see any bubbles.
As I got closer, I noticed that the diver was under a ledge, then they moved and I finally saw bubbles. It was Richard, and he was videoing an Octopus.
We went a lot closer, watched the Octopus for a while then headed over to the Bommie.
Starting at the bottom, we circled our way up the bommie, stopping for a couple of shots with Pablo.
I found a long nosed hawk fish and got a pic, then saw another and another...
A few pipefish and of course, beautiful coral
