Diver's Notes

We were warned of a strong current so David and I took a conservative course, staying within the reef.
Cruised around looking at lots of trigger fish, lovely plate coral and a couple of nudi's.
It was easy to see the damage caused by cyclones, but it was also great to see lots of little pieces of coral starting to grow off the dead coral.
We eventually found the COD near the wall at about 8m. I gave David the camera and sided up to the cod for a photo. Posed for the pic, then crapped myself as the cod decided I might have food and came a lot closer.
The next 10 minutes David and I tried to swim away from the cod, but it was super curious or thought we had food and wouldn't leave us alone.
Eventually we got away, found the boat, did our safety stop in strong current and boarded the boat to end our dive.
