Diver's Notes

Myranda sat this one out after having ear problems the last dive, so Ethan and I buddied up.
Current at surface was quite strong but disappeared once we started the dive.
We dropped to 18 m and started around the bommies looking for the swim through that Kiren had mentioned.
Found a swim through, I headed in and Ethan followed. About half way through it started to get a bit tight, its then i realised that this wasn't the swim through Kiren had mentioned.
Using my torch I scanned ahead and thought that I should be able to get through so continued on.
Next tight squeeze was a little awkward and I had to shimmy and twist to get through. Ethan was on my tail so I couldn't head back.
We didn't find the anchor.
Once out at 6m the viz dropped to a couple of meters so we headed back down to 18m. As we went around the next bommie, both Ethan and I noticed the distinctive coral outcrop that Kiren had said to keep an eye out for that shows the swim through entrance.
Oops, first swim through was the wrong swim through.
We then continued around the Bommies, deep blue deep water dropping straight down below us.
Saw a couple of white tips and a grey reef shark, but not much else of interest.
We then came to another 'cave'. I could see light at the end so in we went. It wasn't as tight as the first, but still had to wiggle a bit to get through.
Once through the swim through and on top of the reef, we headed back in the direction of the boat, trying to get a pic of a lion fish.
Dropping back down to 18m, we eventually ended up at the swim through we were supposed to go through.
Ethan led the way and we headed through, saw the anchor and easily popped out the other end. Made our way back to the line and back to the boat.
