Diver's Notes

The tender took us about 500m from Spoilsport, we back rolled in and started to descend.
The 3 Pakistani boys wandered off to do there own thing, when i noticed Myranda seemed to be having trouble equalising.
I asked Myranda if she was OK, and got the response that she had an ear problem. I gave Myranda a sign to ascend, then I moved to within reaching distance in case support was needed.
It took a little, but Myranda descended and we moved on with the dive, although I did keep a much closer eye on her than usual.
We saw a couple of grey reef sharks and some big cod or grouper. Eventually found Pablo and had my pic taken in te soft coral. Then Pablo ascended to Myrandas depth and took some pics.
The rest of the dive was uneventful, we did a safety stop swim at 5m back to the boat, but still had to wait under the boat for another minute.
Just as we were leaving the 5m bar to board the boat, I noticed Myranda swim away from the boat and down, as a GoPro slowly drifted downwards just in front of her.
Myranda stopped, she couldn't reach it, so I dumped my air and kicked hard catching the GoPro at about 10 to 12m.
I slowly ascended back to 5m where my Suunto decided that I had better have another 3min safety stop !
Back on the boat, the Pakistani boys were very happy that I'd recovered the GoPro, as they had not downloaded any of the pics from it as yet.
