Dewit's 2nd guided dive. Easy dive, no fogging great air consumption

Current was very strong. Watched Hugo conduct lessons with Manuel; navigation, out of air, accent, etc. Easy dive, but against strong current.

Assisted Stacey with 2 students for SSI OW1. Snorkeling and basic skills.

Assisted Stacey with the 2 students from the day before doing OW2. Basic repetition, seemed OK, I was fine.

Assist Stacey with OW3. Only Pearline came out today, we went on long tail. I struggled with sinus

Ricardo led 6 Malay divers, I followed. Informed Ricardo when diver reached 100 bar, bad viz, couldn't even see front of group

Same crap viz again. I saw a scorpion fish, everybody else saw a turtle

Isabel took 6 Malay fun divers. I was secondary leader at the rear, lol, DMT !! Same as last dive here yesterday, crap viz, saw nothing but irresponsible divers.

Assisting fun dive with Isabel. Strong swim against current, then good drift with current. Lots of mask fogging and irresponsible Malay divers.

Was helping Isabel with 1 DSD and 3 fun divers. The DSD decided she didn't want to do the dive, so I had to take her back to the boat.

Buddied up with Sue so she could accompany her Dad & Uncle who were doing a DSD with Mitch

Went with Sid to help with his students, pretty boring.

Strong current, crap viz, I gave Gwen to Sid

Helped Jesie with her fun divers, 2 Malays, a Fin and Candy. Good viz, nice dive, no problems.

Ripping current. Helped Candy with weight belt, Malay divers struggled, Candy was awesome.

Accompanied Will & Stacey who had 4 DSD's between them. I buddied up with PJ who was mostly taking pics of the DSDs, while I had my SMB up to ward off random long tails in the area.

Assisted Koi with 3 DSDs, watched DSD skill demo, then got to lead 1 DSD around for the dive.

Assisted Koi with 3 DSDs. I led 1 DSD for a bit, the Koi gave me another so she could focus on the other DSD. Lots of fun, having 2 DSDs was easier to control as I had more leverage to push in a direction. Koi is awesome. Out of all the instructors, she was the only one to ever give me some money for helping out.

Went with Eric as the Lead, with Lena and Grant to do a deep dive at 8 Mile on the small boat Piroy.

2nd deep dive at 8 Mile with Eric, Lena and Grant, Saw some big barracuda, watched deep dive pressure test by Eric, I tried but felt abit unbalanced

My first time actually leading/guiding a dive. 4 AOW divers with Isabel watching. I swam a bit too fast, but the customers were happy.

2nd dive with me guiding 4 AOW divers and Isabel watching. Saw heaps of fish, customers very happy, but Isabel advised to swim slower and check air after 15 minutes instead of 5 minutes !

I did so well in the night dive hand signals theory that Eric got me to guide the night dive. With Koi supervising and Lena watching I had 2 of the AOW divers for my first night dive guiding. Saw cuttlefish, batfish, shrimp. I did the night dive briefing, then during the dive I used all of the new signs for night diving that I had learnt that day, even played with the phosphorescents in the water.

I assisted Ricardo with 4 AOW divers doing a refresher, then Ricardo had me lead the dive.

Led the 2nd dive with the 4AOW divers. Easy dive happy customers

Ricardo did a refresher, then I led the dive of 5 OW & AOW divers. The refresher did her air quite quickly, so I took her back and Ricardo continued the dive

2nd dive with the 5 OW & AOW divers. 2 OW divers started running low on air 35min into the dive, so i took them back while Ricardo continued with the other divers.

Did DM skills evaluation, hovering & fin pivot need work.

I did a Refresher with Charlotte with Isabel supervising. Then Isabel led the dive, but ended up taking 2 of the others back to the boat while I led Charlotte on a fun dive. The first time I was guiding without supervisor !!

Helped Will with 2 DSDs. I took 1 and flew along the reef. Awesome fun.

I assisted Madison with 4 OW fun divers. Madison found an Octopus, It was amazing to watch.

Assisted Madison with 4 OW divers. Saw a blue spotted Ray, a big ray buried in the sand and big trevally feeding on bait fish in a big ball

I did 2 refreshers, then led the fun dive with Stacey supervising. Glad Stacey was there. As we started to kneel in the sand to start the refresher, Stacey stopped us and showed as the Indian walking fish that my refresher would have knelt on, Stacey said later that they do have poisonous spines !!

I led the 2 divers with Stacey supervising. Went down the buoy, around Stonehenge and back to Chalam Wan. Saw some barracuda and some nudibranchs.

I led 3 fun divers with Stacey supervising and Lena assisting. We went under the pontoon, along the reef, Saw moray, trumpet fish, bat fish and i found a watch.

SSI Dive Guide evaluation conducted by Eric. Had Bart and Lena as fun dive customers. I did the dive briefing, then led the dive... I passed !! But Eric said i should swim slower, swim lower if there's a current and point out more fish.

This dive I was a fun dive customer while Lena did her SSI Dive guide evaluation. Saw Stonefish, blue spotted Ray, Giant moray. Lena passed, but was also told to swim slower, lol.
