Diver's Notes

Seaworld Oceanarium Durban
Underwater world asked us if we would help clean the dolphin pool. Roger, Wilson and I dived first.
Afterwards I snorkelled to the holding pen and the dolphin allowed me to touch it's fin.
We were invited to watch the show and were given a tour of the "behind the scenes" operation. We got to see the baby dolphin she was born 9th December 1998 fathered by Gambit (a 500kg Atlantic Bottlenose dolphin), the largest in captivity.
