Diver's Notes

This was the underwater navigation dive for our advanced certification. Diane's wireless transmitter wasn't pairing so we did the exercises with her on my octo. We determined fin stroke per 100 feet. Mine was 32 with the current. We practiced doing an out and back, and then a square using compass and a bit of natural navigation. After our exercises Diane went back to the boat and I joined CJ and Chris (usually freediving but on tanks today) and took a hogfish and caught a lobster that we had to release because she was pregnant. Saw a 7 foot nurse shark which was awesome
