Nav bus to shore. Still left with time to swim to wall for two minutes and did safety stop at 5 metres. Got bored and decided to do skills. While doing combo clear lost DV and couldn't recover. Had buoy in left hand and couldn't find octo. After more than a minute (?) Anthony gave me my DV back. I had the feeling that I was going do drown, and I was at ease with it. Spoke to Don, he thinks it could have been hypoxia and the feeling is not uncommon with drowning. He feels that with the normal control that I have it did not bother me until it was almost too late.
