Diver's Notes

Entered the dive at the Elevator Shaft. Dove as part of a mixed team, two with singles and one other with doubles. I dove in a dual sidemount configuration. The first part of the dive was exploring the area to the East of the Elevator Shaft poking our heads into some caverns and swim-throughs. Decided to test the sidemount ability to pass through some tight restrictions. :)

The teams split once the single divers reached their halfway point and that's where the fun began! We did some deeper exploration of some of the caverns and lava tubes; well beyond the light zone.

Lessons learned, always make sure you have everything you need, even if you don't think you'll need it. It would have been very easy for something to have gone wrong!
