Diver's Notes

Took a slightly different route at Magic Island to practice a little bit more underwater navigation using landmarks and reference points. I picked natural features this time because Kenzie was collecting the "trash" I was using as reference points.

We took a mostly southwest heading and saw tons of nudibranchs this dive. Also good finds, plenty of shells, a snake eel that Kat found and even a zebra eel!

My camera had some condensation buildup over the lens, so was not able to take photos of the latter two species listed! :(

We started making our way back to our start point once Kenny reached half-time. Using only the natural landmarks on the way out, I was able to navigate us back to the surface marker we deployed earlier.
