2012-11-04 - Rms Rhone, Salt Island, British Virgin Islands

18.3m - 54 min - Dived with Boed from Blue Water Divers

Guided dive of the stern section of the wreck. Most visually dramatic dive. Lots of sealife. Saw octopus. Simone was hovering about 3ft over the octopus who was gliding over the bottom buts she didn't see it. I pointed it out to her which startled her for a moment."

2012-11-05 - Bronco Billy, Great Dog Island, British Virgin Islands

13.7m - 60 min - Dived with Scott Martin

First unguided dive. Had to swim a distance from the boat to get to the spot. We made it to the arch but then turned around as we were running out of time. The interesting part was right where we turned around. Great experience with underwater orienteering. Good dive though.

2012-11-08 - Wild West Wall, Jost Van Dyke, British Virgin Islands

9.1m - 30 min

Unguided dive. Poor visibility. We didn't know the area and guessed where to anchor the dinghy. We went alone and this was our first dinghy entry and exit. Went due west to find the wall but didn't descend as it was dark and getting late. Was able to find the wall and found our way back to the dinghy perfectly.

2012-11-09 - Rms Rhone, Salt Island, British Virgin Islands

25.3m - 15 min

Unguided dive. Poor visibility. Dove the bow section with Todd. He is uncertified and we dove together with Simone and Suzanne. Todd got in the water and went down before the rest of us so I followed him down. He drifted up to the surface and then came back down. We left Simone and Suzanne at the surface and we continued on to the wreck site. We took two photos and then continued around the bow of the wreck. He followed me then I saw him move rapidly to the surface. I had been in the water for 15 minutes and knew that the dive was over at that point. I surfaced stopping at 15 ft for three. Minutes before continuing to the surface. Todd was at the surface though making no effort to move to the boat. I looked Around for Simone and Suzanne and found their bubble trail so I knew they were descending. I continued to the boat. Todd had told me he was fine when we reached the surface but when I got to the boat he was drifting away and finally told me to come get. Him. I dropped the dinghy and motored out to his location and hauled him and his equipment into the boat. We motored back to the boat and we offloaded the dinghy just as Simone and Suzanne were surfacing. Todd complained of pain in his left arm and chest."
