Diver's Notes

Drift dive. First dive with Jim Abernathy Scuba in West Palm Beach. Simone went with me. I was suffering from a sinus headache and nausia from the rolling boat. There were about 18 people on the boat. It took an hour to get to the first dive spot at Bath and Tennis. The dive was busy with fish and quite fascinating. It was the first time I saw a loggerhead turtle which was sleeping on the bottom.

Simone had an anxiety attack so we didn't get to descend for about ten minutes but she was able to feel better soon. The guide ended up behind us but caught up after about 10 minutes.

The current was about 1 knot below and 3 knots on the surface. We surfaced after about 39 minutes and the boat came to get us.
