Diver's Notes

Jill 67. First dive of the trip at Molokini backwall. Very rough crossing due to high winds in Maui. Did well with ears and breathing. Didn't see much on the wall, the only really notable things were a purple Dragon nudibranch and a white tip reef shark. Jill had trouble descending, but did great beyond that. Someone ran out of air quickly, so I came up with 1200 lbs. Joe and Michelle were on the boat, but all the other crew were new to us.

Captain Buzzy was a 60+ year old boat driver who used to split time between Breckinridge teaching skiing and driving boats on Maui, but now is on Maui full time. Joe used to work in marketing for GM, but got sick of it and became a dive master. I am jealous of him!
