Kayak dive

Kayak north out of Kapalua Bay

Met Paul from Kapalua Dive Company at Kapalua Bay. BC goes on tank, tank goes in back of kayak, fins, mask strapped in front. Paddled north to Hawea Bay, about 15 minutes. Paul moored the kayaks and unloaded the tanks. I zipped up wetsuit and put on mask and fins and got in water. He helped with my BC & then did his. We descended. Great underwater topography - amazing lava formations. Lots of little fish, 3 turtles, 3 eels, 1 very large moray eeld. Beautiful and easy dive. Paul navigated us right back to the kayaks. he handled putting the tanks back in. Everything else was easy. I'm becoming a fan of Maui shore diving & would do a kayak dive again.
