Menpachi Cave - The older woman was properly weighted this time, so had no problems, which was nice. Did the 70+ foot lava tube swim through and saw an overhead nook with at least a dozen lobsters in it. Chris wrote "that was a lot of lobsters". Prior to that there was another overhead nook with a bunch of shrimp. I found an eel in a nook with a cleaner shrimp right next to it. Was a highlight for Joe. We also swam through a lava formation with a small piece of sailboat ballast, and the formation was featured in an episode of the original Charlie's angels series.
The nice thing about these 2 dives, was that since there were 3 of us, Chris would cut us loose towards the end near the boat and we could cruise around on own. Since Joe and Mike were better on their air than me, they could stay down even after I had to ascend, so their dives were significantly longer than mine. I need to get better on my air!
