12lbs was good.
Scooter shore dive from Kaanapali Airport Beach with Dan. Scooters were pretty cool once I got the hang of it. Put it between your legs and I used my hands in front of my like a rudder at first. Had to be careful not to hit reef or go up or down too fast. Towards the end I was able to steer better with my fins.
Scootered out to small mermaid statue. Then dropped scooters in the sand and checked it out. Carried scooters a short way to a small rock reef where there were 2 decent-sized eels. Then just scootered around to various reefs.
Shore exit was pretty rough so we had to bail on the 2nd dive.
