Diver's Notes

Diving with Mark and Bruce again. Tried a negative entry but then missed the shot line so ended up having to bob up and have a huge swim into the current to get back to the buoy. Took my 15 mins of the dive to get my breathe back.

Didn't help having a fair bit of current on the wreck either. Made it pretty difficult to manoeuvre.

Headed up hill first as seemed the logical direction. Coming back down port side I found a rope off to the anchor some 15-20 metres away. Saved a crab that was caught in monofilament line.

Back on wreck got dark down toward the stern. Found a big sea slug at one point..... Wasn't in the book though.

Looked like the steering quadrant was still stood upright on the wreck at the bottom. Moved back up the wreck by heading instead a bulk head. But of a squeeze..... Fun watching mark snd Dave try to squeeze in too :-)

This was about 30 mins in an only just in the wreck. Then just swam through looking in all the nooks and crannies. Nice swim thru up past the boiler. Has panic when I saw mark with his dsmb unfurled.... Thought the unit had packing in and he was heading up.

Overall left the wreck at about 56 mins with no deco...... I love ccr diving!!!!

Back on surface we went seal spotting and then had a visit from some porpoises. Nice.
