Inland Sea to Blue Hole, Gozo

Started our last dive in Gozo in the same way that we’d started here the other day.... first on site, said hello to the octopus at the entrance to the tunnel then swam through into the amazing light shining into the tunnel. Felt very cold today as there was no real light into the site so we tried not to spend too long at depth. Did duck down when I remembered that the black and white nudibranches were still living down deep at the moment. Managed to find a few which I papped with my camera. Once you’ve seen one you start spotting them everywhere!

Took things a lot more leisurely this time around so we got to the blue hole after about 45 mins. Meant we could take a bit more time exploring the wall and checking out all the fish that swim up and down in the current. Kept an eye out for barracuda out in the blue water too but didn’t spot any. Had a circle around in the Blue hole as we did our safety stops and really imbedded the memories we have from this wonderful dive site.
