Diver's Notes

Nice dive on this artificial reef. Amazing how much light there is down at nearly 40m. Lovely sandy bottom which means you can see the whole 50m wreck in one view. Started from the shore, swimming out to the edge of the shallow part, descending straight down off the drop-off (am beginning to think that most of the dives here have a drop off!) and then swimming mid-water over the wreck. Could almost see the wreck from about 30m away.

Made our way past the stern first looking at the prop. Through the inside of the ferry, where we spotted a pretty large scorpionfish before popping out onto the deck near the bow. Another scorpionfish (apparently the other resident on the wreck) was lurking at the top of a ladder.

Off the wreck after about 18 mins and back onto the reef section where we just enjoyed the sea grass and warmer waters (was about 15 degrees at depth supposedly). Lots of playful little wrasse (ornate and rainbow) and damselfish.
