Diver's Notes

Dreadful viz and swell from the south. But a very nice dive for Nessa and i..... Lots to see across this little reef. The reef itself was made up of lots of smaller pebble size and shaped rocks but stuck together, presumably by volcanic material.

We followed along the string of divers through the poor visibility and mainly just trying to keep in sight of Steves torch beam.

During the dive there was lots of trumpet fish, parrot type fish, damselflies, snappers, arrow crabs dotted across the reef. Spent quite some time looking for nudibranchs but it was too swelly and we were moving too fast to spot any.

At end Steve had trouble finding the shot and a pair of divers.

Back on the surface we found a safety sausage..... Few minutes later we found two muppet "British divers" pop up about 50 metres away..... Said they had put the buoy up without a reel so we would know where they were..... And the reel was on his other safety sausage! Muppets.
