Diver's Notes

Sunny day and warm, with 1-2 foot chop. We took a break from the coursework and did a recreational dive on Molasses Reef. Very light current near surface, mellowed out at depth. This is a nice reef. Jen and I started on our own, but soon caught up with Billy and Kim to finish out a leisurely tour.

We saw barracuda and very large Blue Parrotfish, and a big (2') box/porcupine fish. Reef layout was a series of fingersl stretching toward boat with a great reference: a very large brain coral near the top of the reef at the decent point. Also saw a spotted goat fish (trunk fish?) Started filming but camera died early into dive.

SAC rate = 1.04 cf/min
