Diver's Notes

Billy and I headed to FLSP to dive today for two reasons: 1) The water clarity that had been reported all year was above average, and lately exceeded anything I'd heard of with some reports claiming 40'+; 2) The freshwater jellyfish were out in abundance! I also took advantage of some 120 steel tanks we have at the shop to compare to the 100 Al's I have been using.

The jellyfish were out, apparently, but I did not really see them on this first dive. Billy said there were plenty, so I asked him to point them out next time to 'train my eye'. The water was as clear as I've ever seen it: perhaps not 40' but definitely clearer than any other dive I've been on there. We could see the entire length of the bus clearly, as well as the rock crusher well enough to comfortably do swim-throughs.
