Diver's Notes

Undersea Highway, Elbow Reef (slow drift)
Slow drift dive along the ‘highway’. Not as much marine life here, but the sand on the highway makes for interesting formations. Saw a small stingray when we first jumped in. Highlight of this dive was trying out the new ScubaPro Hydros on loan from Joseph. I was skeptical after hearing all of the rhetoric, but was presently surprised as to how well it performed! Comfortable fit, lightweight and very responsive to air bursts and release. Also needed far less weight than with my BCD (dropped from lbs to 6 lbs, and could still easily drop more). Very nice BCD, and now I may need to add that one to my list.

I forgot to change out my battery and my camera died within a minute or so into the dive. Got a nice shot of a conch and a french angel, though, before it died.
